How can I confirm packet loss in ARC Raiders instead of guessing?

The connection in ARC Raiders feels unstable without a huge ping spike. Actions arrive late for a second, then everything catches up.
What should be checked locally before blaming the servers? The game-specific checks include cross-platform squads, Easy Anti-Cheat, matchmaking, and shader compilation.

A speed test does not rule out packet loss. Test the route instead.
- Use Ethernet for one session.
- Pause cloud sync, game downloads, streams, and uploads on the whole network.
- Run a continuous ping to the router and to a stable public address while playing. Loss to the router means a local/Wi-Fi problem; clean router results with outside loss point to ISP routing.
- Select the nearest region manually when the game allows it.
- Reboot the router, but do not keep changing DNS expecting it to fix packet loss.
- Check the game’s network graph or warning icons.
For ARC Raiders, also review cross-platform squads, Easy Anti-Cheat, matchmaking, and shader compilation. If multiple players report the same region issue at the same time, local reinstalls will not help.
