Is the verity mod actually real or is thatmob faking it in the videos?

so i just watched thatmobs videos and this verity thing is freaking me out lol. the little yellow smiley ball that talks to u and answers ur questions then slowly turns into a monster?? that cant be a real mod right. but it feels TOO real, like it knows stuff about his world, village locations, even real life stuff.

everyone in the comments swears its a real mod and he keeps saying dont ask for it. so whats actually going on, is the thing in his videos a real playable mod or is it mostly scripted with editing and sound design? and separately, are there official community made versions that recreate verity that people actually play? tryna understand whats real vs whats just made for the horror series
