Yo, when does Chronicles: Medieval drop, and what PC specs do I need to run it?
I’ve been keeping an eye on Chronicles: Medieval, but I’m still not sure when it’s actually dropping. Has the developer announced a confirmed release date yet, or is it still only planned for 2026 Early Access?
I’d also like to know the official minimum and recommended PC system requirements. Would a mid-range setup be enough to run it smoothly, especially during large battles and crowded scenes?

Here’s the real deal: there’s still no exact release day or month yet. Raw Power Games has only confirmed that Chronicles: Medieval is coming to Steam Early Access sometime in 2026. So yeah, it’s definitely planned for this year, but any specific date you see online right now is basically guesswork. The console versions are coming later, but they don’t have a date either.
Also, this won’t be the finished 1.0 version at launch. The devs expect Early Access to last around one year, although that could change depending on feedback and how development goes.
Current minimum specs
OS: Windows 11
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: GTX 1060 6 GB or Radeon RX 6600 XT
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 60 GB
Current recommended specs
OS: Windows 11
CPU: Intel Core i7-10700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: RTX 4060 8 GB or Radeon RX 6700 XT
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 60 GB
A decent modern mid-range PC should be able to handle it, but I wouldn’t expect the minimum setup to smash huge battles at high settings. The game can throw hundreds of soldiers onto the battlefield, so the CPU will probably matter just as much as the graphics card.
