About this game

Echoes of Aincrad is a single-player action role-playing game set in the Sword Art Online universe. Players create their own hero and enter the floating castle of Aincrad, where survival depends on close-range combat, dodges, parries, equipment, and carefully timed attacks. The premise returns to the dangerous virtual world where defeat carries serious consequences, while presenting a new player-led adventure rather than simply retelling an existing protagonist's journey. The game launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC in July 2026.
