God of War Laufey is the next mainline entry in the God of War series from Santa Monica Studio, revealed at PlayStation's State of Play in June 2026. For the first time in the franchise, Kratos isn't the playable hero: you control Laufey — Faye, his wife and Atreus' mother — who awakens after her death in the Everywhen, the afterlife of the gods where many mythologies collide. Alongside the cosmic cube Phranque and living ribbon Rue, Faye battles gods in fast, agile combat to return to her family. God of War Laufey is a PlayStation 5 exclusive with no release date yet.
