About this game
Rocket League combines football-style objectives with physics-driven rocket-powered cars. Teams accelerate, jump, boost, rotate, and use walls or aerial movement to strike an oversized ball into the opposing goal. Its basic rules are easy to understand, but advanced control requires precise timing, positioning, recovery, and teamwork. Competitive playlists support several team sizes, while casual modes, private matches, training packs, tournaments, and limited-time variants offer different ways to play. The game became free-to-play in 2020 and supports cross-platform competition.
