The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open-world RPG from CD Projekt Red, first released in 2015. Players step into the boots of Geralt of Rivia, a grizzled monster hunter tracking down his missing adopted daughter, Ciri, while she's chased across the continent by a spectral army called the Wild Hunt. Gameplay mixes wide-open exploration, reaction-driven sword-and-sign combat, gear and skill progression, and a branching story where your choices quietly reshape quests, alliances, and endings. Set in a bleak, war-scarred fantasy world, it drew massive praise for its writing, its unusually deep side quests, and its sheer scale — and it's still regarded as one of the RPGs that defined its generation.
