Valorant is a tactical first-person shooter that combines precise weapon handling with character abilities. Teams alternate between attacking and defending bomb sites, with limited lives during each round and an economy that determines equipment purchases. Agents provide tools for gathering information, blocking sightlines, controlling space, entering sites, or supporting teammates, but firearms remain central to most fights. Success depends on crosshair placement, movement discipline, utility timing, communication, and reading the opposing team. Competitive ranks reward consistent teamwork as well as individual performance.
