New World keeps disconnecting even though my internet speed looks fine

New World disconnects from sessions while other internet use looks fine. The error is too generic to tell whether it is DNS, routing, firewall, or the game service.

What local checks are actually useful before reinstalling? Please include server selection, corrupted settings, crowded settlements, and network stability, region selection, NAT, and a clean network test.

Use a short network isolation test:

1. Try Ethernet and pause all uploads.
2. Confirm the game, launcher, anti-cheat, and platform services are allowed through the firewall.
3. Check region selection and avoid VPNs for the baseline.
4. Restart the router and PC once, then test without changing five settings together.
5. Run continuous ping tests to the router and internet during a disconnect.
6. Compare solo, public matchmaking, and friend-hosted sessions.

For New World, include server selection, corrupted settings, crowded settlements, and network stability. A clean speed test with unstable route latency is still a connection problem.
